Frequently asked questions
The short answers. Can't find what you need? Get in touch and we'll help.
- Which cities can I book in?
- Venture Fit is launching in cities across Australia, with more added all the time. You can browse trainers and sessions in any available city before you sign up.
- How does booking work?
- Pick a city and a trainer, choose a session and a time, complete a quick one-time health questionnaire, and pay securely. Your trainer receives what they need to train you safely, and you just show up.
- Are the trainers vetted?
- Yes. Every trainer on Venture Fit is invited and vetted before they can take bookings — they don't sign themselves up. You can read more on our Trust & safety page.
- Why do I have to complete a health questionnaire?
- You complete a single health assessment when you book. It lets your trainer tailor the session and train you safely. Some answers may require a clearance from your GP before you can book certain sessions.
- What's the difference between a gym session and an experience?
- A gym session is a one-to-one workout with your trainer at a real local gym. An experience is a signature, location-based session your trainer runs — think training outdoors in a memorable spot rather than a hotel gym.
- How much does it cost, and do I need a membership?
- There's no membership and no contract. Trainers set their own session prices, and you always see the price before you book — you only pay for the sessions you book.
- How do I pay?
- Payments are handled securely by Stripe at the time of booking. Your card details are never stored by Venture Fit.
- Can I cancel or get a refund?
- You can cancel a booking from My bookings. Refunds depend on how far in advance you cancel — the earlier you cancel, the more is refunded. The applicable amount is shown before you confirm a cancellation.
- Is my health information private?
- Yes. Your health information is encrypted and stored securely in Australia. It's only shared with the trainer you book, and you control your profile.
